The 2023 Tastiest Taco Winner was Tacos Daisy, located at 447 Southwest Dr., and owned by Raffaa Osorio. Tastiest Taco, a benefit for the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund, raised more than $4,300. Proceeds will go toward scholarships for single parents attending school. Tacos Daisy won 45% of the total vote. The trophy, custom designed by Lyons Engraving and Awards, will be held by Tacos Daisy until the Tastiest Taco competition returns next year. Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for single parents earning trade skills certificates, associates or bachelor's degrees. During the 2022-2023 school year (including summer), 162 scholarships were provided to 111 students totaling $161,100 awarded in scholarship money in Northeast Arkansas.
