Local musicians honored one of their own at The Glass Factory on Aug. 4 as they performed in concert to honor fellow musician Philip Jackson and raise funds to defeat ALS during the Jammin’ For Philzo 2023 concert. Michael Doyle served as master of ceremonies for the concert, which featured a long list of local musicians who have played music with Jackson over the years. A portrait painted by Dr. Scott Hoke was presented to Jackson during the concert. The event, which included dinner by Legends BBQ Smokehouse, raised more than $33,000 for the ALS Association.
