Brewing Hope Coffee Festival Returns

The second annual Brewing Hope Coffee Festival benefiting Hope Found will take place on Oct. 12.

“We are so excited to bring this festival back for the second year,” said Megan Brown, Hope Found’s executive director. “We believe in using this event to celebrate coffee, fall and community while supporting our mission to end human trafficking.”

Hope Found fights Human Trafficking right here in Northeast Arkansas through prevention and restoration. The organization provides education to the community, exploitation prevention programs for youth and long-term advocacy, as well as survivor-oriented, trauma-informed holistic care and coordination for victims.

The second annual Coffee Festival is a fundraising event that will feature coffee shops and related vendors, including food vendors, bakeries and retailers from around Northeast Arkansas. The event will include multiple People’s Choice voting opportunities, ranging from drip coffee and specialty drinks to the “Anything but Coffee” category.

“This is a coffee festival, but it’s so much more than that,” said Brown. “It’s an opportunity to enjoy a variety of food and drinks, shopping and entertainment all in one place. The event will also have a VR Interactive experience from Hope Found, where attendees can walk in the shoes of Lisa, a minor victim of trafficking, and learn more about how this happened to her so that they can learn how to prevent this from happening to others.”

The in-person event will be held at The Gardens at Harmony in Jonesboro, where the air will be filled with aromatic brews and delicious treats. Attendees will sip on various coffees from local shops and vote on their favorite brews in the People’s Choice categories.

Presale tickets are available now at hopefoundnea.org/coffee. Children under 10 years old will be admitted at no charge.
