Red Wolves fans showed up ready for football season Aug. 18 when A-State Football held its inaugural Kickoff Party at the Student Activity Center on campus. The event included shopping for Red Wolves merchandise before the program, a band and spirit pep rally, a Q&A session with Impackt Club Executive Director Dustin Kellums and an A-State football player panel, a live auction and dinner provided by Ray’s Rump Shack. Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics Jeff Purinton and Head Football Coach Butch Jones also addressed fans during the event. A reception for Platinum and 1200 Club members followed in the football locker room. Matt Stolz, the “Voice of the Red Wolves” served as emcee.
