The A-State Block Party was held Sept. 6 in Downtown Jonesboro as part of the Jonesboro Regional of Commerce’s 27th annual Paint the Town Red Week. The event included a pep rally, a performance by A-State’s The Sound of the Natural State marching band. A-State Head Football Coach Butch Jones and Athletic Director Jeff Purinton also addressed fans during the event.
