The 26th annual Have-A-Heart Wish-A-Thon held Feb. 16 raised $467,966 for Make-A-Wish Mid-South. Volunteers collected money at roadblocks across the region while other donations were made in person at Embassy Suites Red Wolf Convention Center and by phone throughout the day. Funds raised during the annual event will be used to provide wishes for children battling critical illnesses.
