Volunteers for Make-A-Wish Mid-South held its 25th annual Have-A-Heart Wish-A-Thon on Feb. 10. Volunteers across Northeast Arkansas manned roadblocks throughout the day, while media sponsors Jonesboro Radio Group and KAIT shared the stories of wish families, volunteers and donors. The annual event raises funds to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Held at Embassy Suites by Hilton Jonesboro Red Wolf Convention Center, this year’s event raised more than $422,142 for Make-A-Wish and closed with a concert featuring The ShotGunBillys and The Band Trippp
