FOA Champions for the Arts Gala

The Foundation of Arts held its Champions for the Arts Gala on Aug. 31 at The Glass Factory in Downtown Jonesboro. Jonesboro native Mary Hollis Inboden, actor and writer, was the featured speaker. Honorees recognized during the event were Ritter Communications, Arts & Business Award; First Community Bank, Arts Sponsor of the Year Award; Faye Haney and Lorenzo Balderas, Volunteers of the Year; Kelly Stevens, Artist of the Year; Hytrol Conveyor, Impact on the Arts; Max and Jennifer Dacus, Supporter of the Year; Matt Cavenaugh and Jenny Powers, Community Artists Award; Jonesboro Occasions magazine, Arts & Publishing Award; Ted, Amanda, Harrison and Madison Herget, Arts Family of the Year. Louis Fawcett, president of the National Association of Nonprofit Organizations and Executives, was also on hand to help kick off The FOA’s three-year capital campaign during the event.
