The Downtown Jonesboro BBQ Fest was held Sept. 29-30 with 25 teams from seven states participating in this year’s competition. The Memphis Original BBQ team was named 2023 Grand Champion, with Poppa Pig placing second as the Reserve Grand Champion. Vendors were set up across the downtown area with musicians filling two stages throughout the weekend. Priscilla Block headlined the event Friday night, with Jameson Rodgers closing the festival Saturday night. In addition to Block and Rodgers, the lineup on the Right Fiber stage included the West Finch Blues Band, JB Strauss, Native Strangers, Aaron Headley, Big Boy Changes, Shane Profitt.
