Bringing "The Secret Garden" to Life

A large cast of Northeast Arkansas favorites is set to join “The Secret Garden,” a co-production between the Delta Symphony Orchestra and The Link Theatre Company.

Steele Daniel will star as Mary, Bethania Baray-Harrison as Lily and Matt Cavenaugh as Archibald in this special two-night concert event set for Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 9 at 3 p.m. at the Fowler Center on the campus of Arkansas State University.

Dr. Neale Bartee will conduct the Delta Symphony Orchestra with stage direction by frequent Link collaborator, Quinton Sanders. Krisie Holmes will lead a large community choir.

The cast will also feature Taylor Heinen as Mrs. Medlock, Perry Harper as Neville, Kasen Erickson as Martha, Matt Carey as Ben, Janson Marsico as Dickon, Henry Cavenaugh as Colin, Becky McAlister as Rose, Carmen Martinez as Mrs. Winthrop, Kadarius Williams as Fakir, Mia Caang as Ayah, James Gramling as Lieutenant Wright, Jonathan Foresythe as Major Shelly, Ava Fitzgerald as Alice and Juliet Bristow as Claire Holmes.

The Link Theater, founded by Broadway couple Matt Cavenaugh and Jenny Powers, is a professional theater company located in Jonesboro. The 501(c)3 nonprofit draws on the finest Broadway, university and local talent to bring innovative musicals and plays to the Northeast Arkansas community.
