Verb Bookstore hosted a discussion featuring Arkansas author Monica Potts on June 30. Potts, a journalist who grew up in Clinton, Ark., published her new book, “The Forgotten Girls: A Memoir of Friendship and Lost Promise in Rural America” in May. Guests gathered at The Parsonage in Downtown Jonesboro for hors d’oeuvres and an evening with the author.
