Arkansas State University Museum will celebrate the “Through a Child’s Eyes” (TACE) exhibition with an open-house event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 5.

“This juried art show features beautiful works by our region’s children, pre-K through grade eight,” said Jill Kary, curator of education for A-State Museum.

Judges from various A-State departments will select pieces to be awarded for first, second and third place ribbons.

“The fact that they all are on exhibit in an accredited museum makes every artist a winner,” said Kary.

“Through a Child’s Eyes” will remain on display throughout the month of April.

“Picasso said that every child is an artist, and it’s true,” Kary added. “Creativity is something we are born with and must rediscover as we grow older. Revive your own innovative imagination at A-State Museum as you view the world through a child’s eyes.”
