The Foundation of Arts presented “Something Rotten,” at The Forum Theatre in late June. The comedic play took audiences back to the Renaissance, where playwrights Nick and Nigel Bottom are struggling to compete with the wildly popular William Shakespeare. When a soothsayer predicts that the future of theater involves singing, dancing and acting all at once, they set out to write the world’s first musical.
