Delta Symphony Orchestra hosted its 2026 Charity Gala, “Roaring Symphony,” Sept. 19 in the Arvest Ballroom at Embassy Suites. Guests were encouraged to wear Roaring ‘20s costumes for the annual fundraiser, which included live and silent auctions, dinner, dancing and entertainment. Dr. Don Vollman and his late wife, Mary, who passed away in 2025, were honored during the event for their longtime support of DSO. Mayor Harold Copenhaver recognized the couple for their support and presented Vollman with a key to the city. In addition, Jonesboro native Chris Melton, a friend of the family, honored the Vollman’s contributions with a performance at the gala.
