Community Health Education Foundation presented The Heart Truth Luncheon on May 20 at The Gardens at Harmony. Mrs. Arkansas Ashley Wells served as the emcee for the event, which included a spring and summer fashion show and door prizes sponsored by Dillard’s. Dr. Lena Z. Awar, interventional cardiologist at NEA Baptist Clinic and NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital, was the keynote speaker providing information on women and heart disease, and Nicole Townsend with Slayton Family Foundation served as the guest speaker.
