Saturday, September 1
Game Day: The A-State Red Wolves take on Southeast Missouri State during the first home game of the season. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. at Centennial Bank Stadium.

Friday, September 7
The Foundation of Arts will host its First Fridays at The Forum concert series at 7:30 p.m. at The Forum Theatre in Downtown Jonesboro. Cory Jackson, ACMA Country Artist of the Year, will be the first artist to perform in the series. Tickets may be purchased online at foajonesboro.org. Saturday, September 8
The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will host a Fall Arts and Crafts Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will include works by local artists, live music by local groups and food vendors. Info: (870) 935-5133.

Dog Fest!, hosted by The Beck PRIDE Center for America’s Wounded Veterans, will be held at the A-State Pavilion from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will also be a dog-friendly fun run beginning at 9 a.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Beck PRIDE service dog program. Thursday, September 13
The St. Jude S’Travaganza planning committee will host a St. Jude Dinner Party at 7 p.m., featuring chefs Brandon and Evan Moore. The event will take place at the home of Chad and Pam Neill and will benefit St. Jude’s Research Hospital. Tickets are $250 per couple. Info: Susan Cathcart, (870) 930-5754.

Friday, September 14
St. Bernards Medical Center will host the Main Street Mile from 7-8 p.m. in Downtown Jonesboro. The course will consist of two half-mile loops around Downtown Jonesboro and will have a fun run and a competitive heat. Register online at racesonline.com. Info: Josh Roberts, jroberts@sbrmc.org.

September 15-21

September 17-22

September 28-29
Participating teams will have the opportunity to win up to $10,000 in cash and prizes during the 10th annual Downtown Jonesboro BBQ & Music Festival. This year’s musical lineup includes rock bands Fuel and Smashmouth. Info: jonesborodowntownbbq.com.

Express Employment Professionals will host the Express Clydesdales on location at the Downtown Jonesboro BBQ Fest on Sep. 28 from 6-9 p.m., and the ASU Equine Center Arena on Sep. 29 from 9-11 a.m. All money raised will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. Friday, September 28
NEA Baptist will host Hoping for a Cure from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Pier 1 parking lot, 2300 E. Highland Drive.
