Thursday, May 2
Ag for Autism will host its eighth annual AgBash from 6-9 p.m. at Centennial Hall on the A-State campus. There will be food, drinks, a silent auction and a performance by The Band Trippp. Proceeds collected will go to area families affected by autism. Info: Christina Moss, info@agforuatism.org.

The American Red Cross will host the Northeast Arkansas Sound The Alarm Mission Mixer at The Glass Factory in Downtown Jonesboro from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Team captains, team members, sponsors and Red Cross volunteers will gather for dinner and to hear from guest speakers on the importance of the Sound the Alarm event. The Pregnancy Resource Center will host the Celebrate Life Fundraising Banquet at First National Bank Arena at 6 p.m. This event will feature a dinner buffet and keynote speaker Gianna Jessen. Info: Valerie Long, (870) 761-3489.

Friday, May 3
CityYouth Ministries will host its inaugural Spring Fling event from 7-10 p.m. at The Glass Factory in Downtown Jonesboro. Guests will enjoy a night of dancing to music from the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s and beyond. Tickets for the event are $75 each or $500 for a table of eight. Saturday, May 4
First United Methodist Church will host an Arrange Your Life with the Lord event from 9-11 a.m. in the atrium of the church. The event will allow guests to design and take home their own flower arrangements. The cost of the event is $20. Info: FUMC, (870) 932-7479.

The Learning Center will host the fourth annual Hotcake Hustle TLC 5K beginning at the Masonic Lodge at 9 a.m. This year, the Masonic Lodge will team up with TLC to host its annual pancake breakfast before the race. The TLC 5K and pancake breakfast will help provide TLC with new state-of-the-art equipment and continued training for their PT, OT and speech therapists. Info: Cindy Van Horn, (870) 932-4245.

Oasis Arts Festival, hosted by The Foundation of Arts, Downtown Jonesboro Association, NEA Artist Collective and ASU Art + Design, will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Downtown Jonesboro. The annual High on Fishing Derby, hosted by Jonesboro Elks, will be held at Craighead Forest Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to fish, enjoy food, win prizes and more. Saturday, May 11
The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas will host the annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. During the event, participants will leave non-perishables at their mailbox for letter carriers to pick up and deliver to the post office. NEA Baptist’s fifth annual Mother’s Day 5K will begin at 8 a.m. on the NEA Baptist Medical Campus, 4800 E. Johnson. Proceeds from the event will benefit the ShareHope Family Fund. ShareHope, one of the six programs of the NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation, provides support and resources to families who have lost a baby through stillbirth, miscarriage or in the first few months of life. May 17-19
The Foundation of Arts will present The FOA Music Show at The Forum Theatre on May 17, 18 and 20 at 7:30 p.m. and April 19 at 2 p.m. The production will feature popular tunes from over the years to get the whole family singing and dancing along. Saturday, May 18
Hytrol Dan’s Health Club of Jonesboro will host the 2019 Hytrol Industrial Park 5K Run/Walk beginning at 9 a.m. Registration for the race is $25 before May 3 and $30 after May 3. All proceeds will benefit the Jonesboro Church Health Center. Info: (870) 972-8950.

Tuesday, May 21
Special Olympics Arkansas will host the Law Enforcement Torch Run from 8:30-11 a.m. beginning at the Jonesboro Police Dept. and concluding at Centennial Bank. Local responders and members of the community will be running the Flame of Hope around Jonesboro to bring awareness to Special Olympics Arkansas. Participation fee is $20.
