Saturday, March 2
The Women’s Friendship Dinner, an Arkansas Ambassadors of Music Fundraiser, will be held at Centennial Hall on the campus of Arkansas State University from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person and will include a barbecue buffet dinner. Info: wfdjonesboro@gmail.com.

Monday, March 4
The Special Olympics of Northeast Arkansas will host Tip A Hero from 5-9 p.m. at Colton’s Steakhouse & Grill. During those hours, law officers and first responders will help as waitstaff with the Colton’s team. All tips collected will benefit area athletes with Special Olympics Arkansas. Thursday, March 7
The NEA Artist Collective will host a Spring Art Show from 5-9 p.m. at The Garage in Downtown Jonesboro. More than 20 local artists will exhibit their works during the event. Info: NEA Artist Collective on Facebook.

The opening reception for “Salvador Dali’s Stairway to Heaven: Illustrations from Les Chant de Maldoror” will begin at 5 p.m. at the Bradbury Art Museum in the Fowler Center. Exhibitions will be open from March 8 to April 11. Bradbury Art Museum hours are Tuesday-Wednesday from noon to 5 p.m., Thursday from noon to 7 p.m., Friday-Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Info: (870) 972-3687.

Saturday, March 9
St. Bernards Health & Wellness will host the Get In Gear Indoor Triathlon from 9 a.m. to noon. This event is for those who want to participate in a triathlon or who want to commit to a long-distance plan or goal. The event consists of a 300-meter swim, a five-mile bike ride and two mile run on the treadmill. Participants must be at least 11 years old to participate in the triathlon. Friday, March 15
Jonesboro Rotary Club will host Pot O’ Gold, NEA’s premiere St. Patrick’s Day celebration, at 6:30 p.m. at Centennial Hall on the Arkansas State University campus. There will be food, drinks, a silent auction and live music. To purchase tickets, call Patrick Graham at

Saturday, March 16
Junior Auxiliary’s 48th annual Charity Ball, Enchanted Garden, will be held at the First National Bank Arena on the Arkansas State University campus. Cocktail hour and the silent auction will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner, the program and the live auction at 7:30 p.m. and dancing to Memphis Soul Revue until 11:30 p.m. Info: jajonesboro@gmail.com.

United Way of Northeast Arkansas’ Signature event, Live United with the Stars, will take place at the Cooper Alumni Center at 7 p.m., featuring keynote speaker Miss Arkansas Claudia Raffo. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served. Info: (870) 935-3658.

A-State’s Women’s Business Leadership Center will host the Women’s Business Leadership Conference from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Centennial Hall on the A-State campus. The event will be a forum for leadership and professional development created to inspire and activate women in the business community. Saturday, March 30
Alzheimer’s Arkansas will host the inaugural Diamonds & Denim 5K Dash beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Craighead Forest Park at Pavilion 9. Participants are welcome to either run or walk the race. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. the day of the race. Info: alzark.org.

The third annual CASA Carnival will take place at Nettleton Baptist Church from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature carnival games, bounce houses, live music and a chili cook-off.
