January 1-31
Registration will be open for The Foundation of Arts Spring Classes. Classes begin Jan. 22 and include elements of ballet, dance, acting, musical theater, graphic design, studio art, sewing, yoga, twirling and more. Saturday, January 5
The Downtown Jonesboro Association will host its monthly Yoga with a Twist benefit event at Brickhouse Grill beginning at noon. Guests will enjoy drinks as they participate in a 45-minute yoga session led by Bethany Davis. All proceeds will benefit the NEA Artist Collective and its upcoming downtown art shows. Friday, January 18
Winter Blast, hosted by John 3:16 Ministries, will take place at the First National Bank Arena on the Arkansas State University campus from 3-8 p.m. The evening will consist of food, live and silent auctions, and a skit comedy show performed by John 3:16 instructors and their families. Saturday, January 19
The Jonesboro Polar Plunge will take place at the Jonesboro Elks Lodge with registration beginning at 12:30 p.m. and the polar plunge beginning at 2 p.m. Join in on the fun and form a team to take the plunge in support of Special Olympics Arkansas. The Foundation of Arts will host its annual fundraising event, Cabin Fever, at Centennial Hall on the Arkansas State University campus, with cocktail hour beginning at 6 p.m. and dinner served at 7 p.m. Enjoy a night of dinner, drinks, gaming, dancing and murder mystery; all proceeds directly benefit The Foundation of Arts. The A-State Alumni Association will host the second annual Bubbles & Bingo at the Cooper Alumni Center from 10 a.m. to noon. Wednesday, January 23
Acre of Hope, an event recognizing agriculture in Northeast Arkansas and to raise money to fight hunger, will be from 6-9 p.m. at The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas. Guests will enjoy dinner and live and silent auctions. Info: Kassie Williams, (870) 932-3663.

Thursday, January 24
The opening reception for the 2019 Delta National Small Print Exhibition will be from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Bradbury Art Museum in the Fowler Center. Exhibitions will be open from Jan. 24 to Feb. 20. January 25-27

Friday, January 25
Spinathon, a fundraiser for St. Bernards Women’s and Children’s Services, will take place at Brickhouse Grill from 5:30-10 p.m. It will feature live music, beverages, snacks and half-hour spin classes. Tickets are $45. Info: stbernards.info.

Saturday, January 26
