The Healthy Heart 2-Mile Run/Walk, presented by Gearhead Outfitters, St. Bernards Healthcare and Arkansas State University, will begin at 9 a.m. at First National Bank Arena on Arkansas State University’s campus. Sign up by visiting raceroster.com.

Tuesday, February 11
The Red Wolves Foundation will host the 18th annual Grand Slam Banquet at First National Bank Arena at 5 p.m. Former St. Louis Cardinals catcher Tom Pagnozzi will be the keynote speaker. The event will feature live and silent auctions, dinner, a chance to meet the A-State baseball team and a live performance by Marybeth Byrd. Thursday, February 13

Saturday, February 15
Arkansas Hands & Voices, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families and their children who are deaf or hard of hearing, will host its Winter Wonderland event at the ASU Pavilion from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event will include food, winter crafts and activities for children to enjoy. Thursday, February 20
Associated Builder and Contractors of Arkansas will host the Northeast Arkansas Chili Cookoff & Baggo Tourney at Riggs CAT, 3701 E. Parker Road, beginning at 5 p.m. To enter the chili competition, it is $100 per member team or $150 per non-member team. Junior Auxiliary’s 49th annual Charity Ball, Deep Sea Soirée, will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Jonesboro Red Wolf Convention Center.
