August 1-29
The ASU Regional Famers Market, located at 3350 Aggie Road, will be open every Saturday in August from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and every Tuesday from noon to 5:30 p.m. The outdoor market requires all guests to wear masks and remain six feet apart from one another. August 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30
Local musician Dalanie Taylor will host her Sunday Sessions concert on Facebook live beginning at 7 p.m. Though they are not required, virtual tips are accepted during the performance. Info and updates: Dalanie Taylor on Facebook.

Tuesday, August 4
Yoga with a Twist, hosted by the Downtown Jonesboro Alliance, will take place at Brickhouse Grill in Downtown Jonesboro beginning at 6 p.m. Guests will enjoy beverages as they participate in a 45-minute yoga session led by local instructor Bethany Davis. Info: (870) 919-6176.

Thursday, August 6
The Foundation of Arts will host the Jonesboro’s Got Talent finals at the Rotary Club of Jonesboro Centennial Plaza beginning at 7 p.m. Guests will have the chance to watch the competition’s finalists battle for the winning title. Friday, August 7
The Foundation of Arts will host Plaza Fridays at the Rotary Club of Jonesboro Centennial Plaza beginning at 7:30 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy a live performance by Drew Pulliam, Justin Vinson and Matt King. Thursday, August 14
Art House, an art gallery and studio in Downtown Jonesboro, will host the Mihaela Savu Art Exhibit from 6-9 p.m. Savu, a local cardiologist and artist, will showcase many of her latest works of art during the exhibit. Info: Art House on Facebook.

Saturday, August 15
Jonesboro D.A.R.E., Gearhead Outfitters and the Jonesboro Police Department will host the fourth annual Color Me DARE 2-mile color run at Joe Mack Campbell Park beginning at 9 a.m. A Zumba warm-up event will take place before the color run. August 28-30
The Foundation of Arts will present “The Outsiders” on Aug. 28-31 at The Forum Theatre in Downtown Jonesboro. This play follows Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade and their band of greasers who take center stage in a fight for purpose and a quest for survival.
