Alumni of the former Phi Mu chapter at Arkansas State University will host the 30th annual Phi Mu Fall Fashion Show at the Cooper Alumni Center at 11:30 a.m. All proceeds collected for the event will benefit Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Tickets are $30. Info: (870) 932-5125.

Friday, August 3
Sara Howell Studio & Art Gallery, 405 S. Main St., will host its 2018 Summer Show on Aug. 3 from 5-8 p.m. and Aug. 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Info: (870) 935-6336.

Saturday, August 4
The Northeast Arkansas Humane Society will host Pet-A-Palooza 2018 at 5 p.m. at Centennial Hall. This event will have food and drinks for guests, live and silent auctions, fun games, photo booths and more. Pet-A-Palooza will serve as a fundraiser for the NEAHS. United Way’s annual Stuff the Bus event will take place all day at eight Walmart locations in Northeast Arkansas. The 15th annual River of Hope silent auction and luncheon will be held at Elk’s Lodge to help raise money for Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s local clinic in Jonesboro. Saturday, August 11

Hot Pepper Nights 5K and 10K, hosted by St. Bernards Development Foundation, will be from 6:30-9 p.m. at St. Bernards Health & Wellness. Race proceeds will be allocated to the St. Bernards professional education fund. Participants will receive a custom designed T-shirt and goody bag; there will also be a fiesta-style post-race party with live music, a nacho bar and beverages.

ERA Doty Real Estate will host the third annual MDA Smokeout Summer Camp Challenge all day on location. Proceeds from this event will go towards sending children with muscular dystrophy to a summer camp designed for children who face physical challenges.
