Friday, April 5

Sunday, April 7
The ninth annual Show Them Where You Come From Food Drive will be held from 1-5 p.m. at Doe’s Eat Place in Downtown Jonesboro. Admission to this year’s event is $15 for adults and $5 for children under 10 years old. Adults can bring 15 cans for admission and kids can bring five cans to waive the entry fee. Thursday, April 11
Gairhan Dental will host a Botox & Beautox event on location from 5-7 p.m. The event will give attendees a chance to receive botox and fillers at a special rate while Beau Jones of Beautox Art exhibits and sells his latest art pieces. Info: Misty May, misty.may76@yahoo.com.

April 11-13
The Academies at Jonesboro High School will present a musical production of “Rock of Ages” on April 11, 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. The fun-filled production will feature an array of ‘80s hits. Tickets may be purchased online at showtix4u.com.

Thursday, April 11
The Jonesboro Open, presented by Prodiscus, will take place April 11-14 at Disc Side of Heaven at 4 p.m. This event is a stop during the Disc Golf Pro Tour and is open for the public to attend. Info: discsideofheaven@gmail.com.

April 12-17

April 12-15

Saturday, April 13
The Physicians of St. Bernards Medical Group will host the Doc Rock and Run Half Marathon and 5K from 7:30-9:30 a.m at the First National Bank Arena. The race will benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Bernards. Registration and info: docrockandrun.racesonline.com.

The Health and Fitness Expo, presented by St. Bernards, will feature booths from area businesses and medical health professionals, free screenings and Kids Zone at the First National Bank Arena, April 13, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and April 14, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Info: stbmdexpo.com.

Arkansas Roots Music Festival, an outdoor event featuring roots music held in conjunction with A-State’s 25th annual Delta Symposium, will take place at Jonesboro’s City Water and Light Park from 1-5 p.m.  The KASU-sponsored event will showcase the state’s rock-a-billy heritage through a range of genres. Altrusa of Jonesboro will host the 15th annual Administrative Professionals’ Day Luncheon at St. Bernards Auditorium from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit CityYouth Ministries, Diego Ranch Inc. and Jonesboro Church Health Center. Friday, April 26
Come pre-party for Race for the Cure at the Pink Pasta Party from 6-8 p.m. at St. Bernards Auditorium. Saturday, April 27
The 2019 Northeast Arkansas Race for the Cure will take place at A-State’s Centennial Bank Stadium. Registration and packet pick-up will begin at 6:30 a.m., followed by the Survivor Breakfast at 7, Survivor Parade at 8 and the 5K at 9. All proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
